Meet the women of Whip Mix’s Production, Purchasing, Project Management, and Technical Support teams!
Dina Dean-Payne: Production Manager
Dina joined Whip Mix 14 years ago as the Mechanical Assembly Supervisor and then moved into the role of the Shipping/Warehouse Supervisor. Dina was later promoted to her current role of Production Manager, bringing vast knowledge and skills to manufacturing and operations. Dina holds a Bachelor’s degree in Leadership and Organizational Development and an Executive Master’s in Business Administration. Dina enjoys spending time with her family, working on projects and building foundations for leadership and teamwork.
Shannon Burton: Supply Chain Manager
Shannon and her team handle all of the purchasing and production planning for Whip Mix. Shannon has worked for Whip Mix for 6.5 years. She enjoys hanging out with her husband and step-kids.
Sherri Glass: Senior Buyer
Sherri, who has been at Whip Mix for 4 months, is responsible for purchasing the company’s DTS and legacy items. She processes the non-conformance items, manages suppliers, runs a daily MRP report and purchases accordingly.
Sherri has been a buyer for 25 years and can’t imagine doing anything different. She loves shopping, boating, traveling, spending time with my dogs (Pepperoni and Rambo), and going on a dinner date with my husband. “Whip Mix is a great company to work for and I am so happy to be a part of the team.”
Katherine Dyke: Manufacturing Project Manager
Katherine and her team support the operational activity for purchasing, planning, production, shipping and receiving. She leads cross-functional teams for continuous improvement of Whip Mix’s processes and products. She has worked for Whip Mix for 7 years, and is a part of the 4th generation of the Steinbock family. Katherine enjoys spending time with her husband and 6 year-old daughter, and is trying (in vain) to train an 8-month old black lab mix puppy.
Jackie Steiner: Associate Project Manager
Jackie joined the Whip Mix team in 2017 as Senior Document Control Coordinator and was recently promoted to Associate Project Manager. The responsibilities in her new position include administrative support roles for our purchasing, planning, production, shipping and receiving teams. With her recent promotion she will be lead continuous improvement teams within our operations area. When not at work she enjoys spending time with her family and her 3 dogs and is an avid supporter of The Arrow Fund (a local nonprofit rescue organization).
Johnnie Luttrell: Mechanical Assembly and DTS Technical Support/Production Supervisor
Johnnie has worked for Whip Mix for 25 years as Supervisor of Furnace, Lead, Sewing Assembly and DTS. She enjoys camping with her husband and dog. When she says camping, she really means “glamping”. Johnnie’s more of an RV resort kind of girl. Most of all, though, she is a huge dog lover.
