As we head into Independence Day, I want to take some time to reflect on the role Whip Mix has played in my life and the lives of fellow team members. Whip Mix Corporation was started by Mr. Edmund Steinbock in 1919, 100 years ago this year. Over the last 100 years, Whip Mix Corporation has employed many thousands of employees. In other words, Whip Mix has supported the American dream for lots of people, both in the US and around the world. Not only has it supported the dreams of its employees, Whip Mix has supported the American dream for thousands of dentists and dental labs who prosper while using Whip Mix products all around the world.

Whip Mix Corporation has two manufacturing plants in the United States; its headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, and its facility in Fort Collins, Colorado. These two facilities manufacture approximately 85% of the products that we provide, down to the smallest of parts such as the screws and washers. For the products we do not manufacture, we look to other local American businesses and our global partners.

Whip Mix employs a wide variety of people and provides career opportunities in many areas. We have researchers, scientists, engineers, manufacturing specialists, machine maintenance technicians, a product development team, a quality assurance team, shipping specialists, warehouse and inventory specialists, an internet security team, human resource professionals, marketing professionals, customer service specialists, technical support specialists, and many more.
